A SPECIAL YEAR FOR THE ARGONAUTS

Final plans are now underway for 2018 which will see The Lodge of the Argonauts, No. 8210 celebrate it's 50th Charter year.

The Lodge Warrant was issued by United Grand Lodge of England on the 14th February 1968 and The Lodge was then consecrated on the 5th March 1968 by the then Provincial Grand Master, the R.W.Bro. Brig. C.B.S. Amongst the celebrations planned, there will be a special evening on Tuesday March 06th 2018 to mark the consecration of the Lodge where it is expected that more than 100 Brethren will gather to celebrate their 50 Years of History. The ceremony will take place in the splendid Holmes Lodge Room at Freemasons’ Hall, Leicester, as it did on the 05th March 1968 for it’s consecration.

After the Ceremony, they'll be a special Festive Board consisting of a sumptuous five course meal and various historical lectures, all those in attendance will be presented with commemorative pieces all of which will bear the very special 50th Anniversary design to mark the occasion.
